The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) uses a variety of grant mechanisms to provide support for research on the use of complementary and integrative health approaches to improve minority health and eliminate health disparities in high-priority areas including pain management, stress management, health promotion, health restoration, and disease prevention.

The links below describe some of NCCIH’s current funding opportunities that focus on health disparities research. In addition, NCCIH will support research on health disparities through any of our active funding opportunities. Researchers may review all active NCCIH funding opportunities.

We strongly encourage you to discuss your proposed research with an NCCIH scientific program director before applying. A program director can help applicants determine the appropriate funding mechanism for the type of research.
