101 Manning Drive, CB #7200
Chapel Hill, NC 27599-7025
United States

Individuals holding a doctorate degree who have an interest in the efficacy and mechanisms of complementary medical therapies and techniques are recruited to spend 2 or, optionally, 3 years as fellows preparing for a career in academic research. A mentored training program is provided and tailored to the needs and interests of the fellows. Fellowship activities are conducted on site at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A broad range of training opportunities in the biological, psychological, and public health sciences at the university are available to the fellows. In addition, fellows learn clinical research through our ongoing studies of integrative health interventions, many of which are conducted with populations experiencing health disparities.
