NCCIH Presentations at the 2018 International Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health
April 16, 2018
For the past 7 years, the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) has actively participated in planning and offering a wide array of sessions at the International Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health (ICIMH) conference. This year, the conference will take place on May 8–11 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland.
NCCIH is pleased to provide nine scientific or educational sessions (two pre-Congress and seven workshops) this year for conference participants. We also have a poster presentation on a great communications topic: What Social Networks Teach Us About Patient-Provider Communications and Pain. Over the coming weeks we will feature blog posts to provide more in-depth information and tell you what you can expect from each of our nine sessions.
The 2018 Congress theme, Collaboration in Action: Advancing Integrative Health Through Research, Education, Clinical Practice, and Policy, reflects both the collaborative nature of the field and the scope of the scientific program. The Congress will bring together the best and the brightest working globally in the field of integrative medicine and health.

NCCIH sessions at this year’s Congress will allow participants many didactic and engaging opportunities to learn, connect, share, and collaborate with many areas of NCCIH-supported research and hear what’s new in research training and career development and scientific review.
Please review the list of sessions on NCCIH topics. I am sure there is something that will pique your interest. We hope you will register and join us! We look forward to seeing you!
