Event Description

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is hosting a teaming activity for REsearch Across Complementary and Integrative Health Institutions (REACH) Virtual Resource Centers (U24 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)RFA-AT-23-007. The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to support virtual resource centers that will foster institutional partnerships and provide resources to support clinician-scientist faculty working at partnering U.S. complementary and integrative health clinical institutions, such as accredited schools of acupuncture, chiropractic, osteopathy, naturopathy, physical therapy, and music and art therapy. The REACH virtual resource centers will provide a variety of services and resources including, but not limited to administrative support, research support, grantsmanship, mentoring, training, and teambuilding to support clinician-scientists located at complementary and integrative health clinical institutions to form research teams that pursue funded research aligned with NCCIH strategic priorities for symptom management.

NCCIH is hosting this virtual teaming activity on October 13, 2022, to provide an open forum for potential applicants to interact with each other to aid the formation of partnerships. The FOA requires that research intensive institutions partner with at least three different U.S.-based accredited complementary and integrative health clinical institutions representing varying clinical disciplines.

For additional details about this FOA, refer to RFA-AT-23-007 and our recent blog post.  Register now to attend the teaming event. The deadline to register is Monday, October 10, 2022, by midnight ET.

Please Note:  Attendance at this teaming activity is voluntary; it is not a requirement to apply for the RFA. If you have questions, please email Dr. Lanay Mudd at lanay.mudd@nih.gov.
