Event Description

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is pleased to observe National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) this year from February 28 to March 6, 2021. NCPW allows us to focus on consumer education, especially combatting scams and fraud.

We all can help the public identify different types of scams, notice red flags, and report suspicious events. Scammers have even taken advantage of the coronavirus pandemic in sophisticated ways.

In the spirit of collaboration, NCCIH will be participating in a Twitter chat, hosted by @USAGov, using hashtags #SlamTheScamChat and #NCPW2021. Join us on Thursday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m. ET as we discuss how to avoid health scams.
