Event Description

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is pleased to take part in the #NIHMaternalHealthChat, which will be hosted by NIH Office of Research on Women's Health (@NIH_ORWH) on Wednesday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. ET. This Twitter chat will explore topics discussed in the Journal of Women’s Health special issue on maternal morbidity and mortality (MMM). It was conceptualized by Dr. Samia Noursi, Associate Director for Science Policy, Planning, and Analysis in the NIH Office of Research on Women's Health (ORWH) and the articles within it highlight critical topics associated with MMM. The issue outlines a research agenda for understanding, treating, and preventing maternal health complications.
