What is HealthMeasures?

HealthMeasures is a research resource that supports, administers, and provides an integrated platform to assess health outcomes via self-report or performance measures. HealthMeasures provides automated use of four state-of-the-science measurement systems that were originally developed as separate NIH programs: PROMIS® (Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System®), Neuro-QoL (Quality of Life in Neurological Disorders), ASCQ-Me (Adult Sickle Cell Quality of Life Measurement Information System), and the NIH Toolbox for the Assessment of Neurological and Behavioral Function® (NIH Toolbox®).

  • Researchers interested in self-report or performance measures of physical, mental, and social health outcomes.
  • Clinicians interested in health from the patient perspective.
