2025 Annual Music Research Networks Investigator Meeting

Join us virtually for the open session of the 2025 Annual Music Research Networks Investigator Meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. ET. Registration is required. 

The meeting will provide opportunities to share advances across four National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded music-based research networks (ENSEMBLEMusic4PainAudioAnalgesiA, and Music & Dementia Research Network), promote collaboration, and increase dissemination. 

The public is welcome to attend the meeting’s open session online. The event features opening remarks from Dr. Helene M. Langevin (director, National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health) and Dr. Melinda Kelley (associate director for scientific strategy, innovation, and management, National Institute on Aging). The session will also include updates from the principal investigators of the four networks (Dr. Joke BradtDr. Debra BurnsDr. Julene Johnson, and Dr. Jeffery Dusek) and leaders from several cross-network working groups (Dr. Sheri RobbDr. Shelley White). 

The event will be highlighted by a fireside chat with Sound Health partners: Dr. Francis Collins (former director of NIH, current NIH distinguished investigator, NIH), Kevin Klock (senior vice president, Foundation for the NIH), Sunil Iyengar (director of research & analysis, National Endowment for the Arts), and Deborah Rutter (president, Kennedy Center). The fireside chat will be moderated by Dr. Jane Simoni (director, NIH Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research).
